In Chimurman\’s play “Záskok” many of you have probably heard that “everyone wants to live in České Budějovice.” And when I moved here many years ago, even before “Záskok”, I thought so too. Because a town like this should really be a great place to live.

But as it is, not all expectations are always met and sometimes they are not. That is why, at least as a tourist, you may eventually become a local, you may want to come here. Or maybe not. Everyone will want to live in České Budějovice, but some will not.

If you come to České Budějovice as a tourist, you may see many things. Because there is so much to experience here. Both traditional events and novelties, because change is life. That is why more than 400 cultural events have taken place here this year, are still taking place, and will continue to do so in the future. For example, the Ceske Budějovice Town Hall offers guided tours of the square from the roof or from the black tower, and the harbor end of the Long Bridge is open, with boat, paddleboard, and pedal boat rental services.

It is said there is something for everyone. But for a more detailed menu, you will have to find it yourself. For me, as a local, of course, “what\’s at home is not for me”. What is normal for me may not be for you.

You can enjoy many cultural events and see many sights here.

Also, according to media information, you may experience something here that you can only experience in Prague city or on the D1 highway. It is an unforgettable experience. It is truly unforgettable.
