It is very easy to get injured or get lost in the tatra. Therefore, you must always follow safety recommendations and marked trails. Be careful not to always stay in the mountains at night as wild animals move there. Nevertheless, there are illuminated, abundantly marked and completely safe hiking trails. But you should not leave the hiking trails and venture on your own.You may fall, crash, or lose bearings and get stuck somewhere. Catching a phone signal in the mountains is not a matter of course at our highest peak, but a small miracle.
Follow the hiking trails
Along the entire Tatras of Slovakia, there are many color-coded trails that you can take with your partner or family on long-distance hikes. But be careful.
